I’m not a musician by any means, but I appreciate it with passion. Everyone’s entitled to their opinion of what’s good or not, which is how it’s supposed to be. Here I will share with you what I think is worth listening to. Share the joy of music!

“Without music, life would be a mistake.”

Well I have not updated this in a while, people may think that I listen do the same stuff over and over and over again. Which is true, but bloody hell even I can grow tired of listening to the same goodies continuously.

So here’s what I’m listening to these days:

CALIBAN. A metalcore band from Germany! I had not heard about them until a friend of mine recommended them back in 2012, boy am I glad I gave them a chance.
Another band that has evolved very much since they started back in 1997, but in my mind to the better. Each one’s taste. Their two last albums ´I am Nemesis´ and ´Ghost Empire´ are just up my alley and provide a powerful listening experience.

ASKING ALEXANDRIA. An English metalcore band. Honestly when I first saw these guys must be the pop/rock version of One Direction. I first listened to the song ´A Prophecy´ and I was hooked, intense stuff. Synchronized headbanging, my soft spot. Yeah they have some pop influence here and there, but I don’t mind. ´A Prophecy from 1:00 to 2:00 always makes me feel like I could outrun a f’n cheetah. I’m not a fan of everything they’ve made, but they have some really good ones now and then.

SLIPKNOT. I’ve enjoyed Slipknot for several years, but it was not until I attended Hove 2009 when I saw them perform live that I truly took them to my heart. A tremendous experience. Their last album was in 2008, but now they are finally releasing a new one, called 5: The Gray Chapter (A tribute to their original bass player, the late Paul Gray).
So far they have released two songs to promote the album. ´The Negative One´ and
´The Devil In I´. In my mind they are both excellent songs indicating that their new album will be just as good, if not better. It’s out October 28.
